A living history display of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator, and North American B-25 Mitchell… America’s backbone bomber aircraft of World War II.

This is a rare opportunity to visit, explore, and learn more about these unique and rare treasures of aviation history. 

Sixty years after their use over the skies of enemy territory, they embark on a new mission over the skies of America to honor our veterans of World War II, promote education of our future generations about the role of the aircraft and the flight crews of World War II, and to preserve these treasures of American aviation history where they belong: the sky.

A $12 donation for adults and $6 donation for children under 12 is requested for access to up-close viewing and tours through the inside of the aircraft.

Red Bank Ghost Tours  – Accompanied by the spirits of days gone by, Jersey Shore Ghost Tours will be bringing the past to life with a walking lantern tour of spots in downtown Red Bank that are said to be inhabited and haunted by other worldly beings.  Friday Nights in Red Bank through August/September. Wine Walk – On Sundays take a stroll through the beautiful town of Red Bank while sampling wine and food at your favorite restaurants or try out some new ones! You may purchase Wine Walk event wristbands at any participating restaurant on the day of the event. If you are looking for a place to cool off this summer, of course there are the beautiful beaches in our area.  But if you would like to bring your children to someplace different you should check out the various water parks and “spraygrounds” that Monmouth County has to offer.

Asbury Splash Park (Asbury Park Boardwalk).  The new waterpark on the boardwalk is officially open! Hours are 10am – 6pm. The all day price is $9 for children and $5 for adults. The price for after 4pm is $6 for children and $3 for adults. 

Turkey Swamp Park  (Georgia Road and Namoco Rd, Freehold)  

If you don’t feel like getting wet, you can spend the day at Turkey Swamp Park.  Here you can fish for bass, catfish, and bluegills either from the shore or from kayaks, rowboats, canoes and paddleboats available for rental in summer. Boat rentals are available weekends only from May 1 through June 19 and then daily until Labor Day and weekends only again from Labor Day through Columbus Day. Boat rental hours are 10am-4:30pm.  The cost of boat rental is as follows:   

• 1 hour – $11.50
• each additional 15 minutes - $3
  A refundable deposit of $10 is required for individual rental. Group rentals are available; deposit of $50 is required.
