Allaire Village Crafters’ Market 7/10
100+ crafters will be selling handmade items in this historic village from 10 a.m.-4p.m. on July 10. Free admission, but there will be a $5 parking fee. Raindate is Sunday July 11.
Allaire State Park is best known for its historic 19th-century iron making town, Allaire Village, and its antique steam trains on the Pine Creek Railroad. A living history museum, the village was known as the Howell Works in the early 19th century. The buildings that remain include a general store, blacksmith shop, carpenter’s shop, manager’s house, foreman’s house and a church.
